Suspension of certain US Postal and FedEx Shipments - Effective Immediately

Due to recent changes in US customs regulations, the $800 USD de-minimis exemption for imports will no longer apply as of August 29, 2025.

This decision follows an Executive Order issued by the US government under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), aiming to close loopholes that allowed certain low-value shipments to bypass tariffs and customs controls.

As a result, we have been forced to suspend all postal and FedEx shipments to the United States, with immediate effect and until further notice.

The commercial Express service (DHL) remains available and is currently the only alternative for your shipments.

Important information to know before sending parcels to the United States

  • USPS clearance: USPS is no longer able to process customs clearance for postal parcels. This measure prevents the normal handling of shipments through the standard postal network. Any parcels sent via postal services and arriving in the United States will not be delivered to their recipient and will not be returned to the sender.

  • Taxes payable by the recipient: From now on, customs duties and taxes will systematically apply from the very first dollar. We strongly advise you to be cautious and to inform your recipients of these costs, as they will be at their expense.
⚠️ If these charges are not paid, delivery will be blocked and the parcel may be destroyed or returned at YOUR EXPENSE.

  • Mandatory customs declaration: It is essential to correctly complete the customs declaration at the time of shipment, clearly indicating both the product category and its true value.

  • Taxation levels: The rates of customs duties and VAT depend on the type of product and its country of origin.
Example: an item purchased on Amazon will be taxed differently depending on its origin.
    - If the product comes from China, the applicable rate will be 30% (as of 29 August 2025).
    - If it comes from France, the taxation will generally be 15%.
